The
Lone Star Transplant Games are held annually in San Antonio, Texas, to
highlight the success of organ and tissue transplantation as well as foster the
health and fitness of transplant recipients, donors, and their families.
Recipients
of life-saving organ transplants (including heart, liver, lung, kidney,
pancreas, cornea and bone marrow) are eligible to compete.
Family,
friends, donor families, health care professionals and the public are invited
to attend and to participate.
